One of my ongoing interests is reading on web history (historiography) but also digital archiving.

I happened to see two handbooks with different orientations. I have read one of them and I am reading the other one.

Although there are overlapping cases and issues, I would say that

The SAGE Handbook of Web History mostly focuses on theoretical issues while The Routledge Companion to Global Internet Histories focuses on case studies on mostly country based style. The latter gives you a broader idea of a global history of internet while the former deals with the theoretical and methodological complexity of working with web history.

Hopefully, I will go back to my initial study on Turkey’s web history not only publication-wise but also in developing the related site.
