The Neanderthal Diet—From Teeth to Guts

Sure, in some of the colder regions of Europe plant food would have been very seasonally limited, so meat was almost certainly a large part of those locals’ diets. But in warmer, more resource-rich regions, their menu would have been more varied; they didn’t just gnaw on mammoth thighs. Neanderthals lived in all sorts of different ecosystems in Europe and the Levant during the more than 200,000 years that the species existed. There was no monolithic Neanderthal diet.

The Ministry of Interior has announced that Metropolitan Mayors of Diyarbakır, Mardin and Van have been removed from office on the ground that there are ongoing investigations against them at heavy penal courts.
The news comes after Wives of Turkey’s opposition figures meet in show of solidarity  (The wives of leaders and officials from Turkey’s main opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) meets with Demirtaş’ wife:
It was a courageous act as the governing coalition would immediately label this as a support for terrorism.
Erdoğan heavily depends on ultranationalists for a while and confiscation of Kurdish municipalities looks like a concession to this clique…
